Job Description
We are currently seeking for a Humanitarian Aid Officer who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating humanitarian aid programs that are designed to help communities affected by conflict, natural disasters, or other crises. The role involves working with local communities and other organizations to ensure that essential services and relief supplies are delivered effectively and efficiently to those in need.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing humanitarian aid programs that respond to the needs of affected communities, in collaboration with local partners, donors, and government agencies.
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of affected communities, including food, shelter, water, and medical care, and developing programs that meet these needs.
- Logistics and supply chain management: Managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of relief supplies, including food, shelter materials, and medical supplies.
- Collaborating with local partners, government agencies, and other humanitarian organizations to ensure a coordinated and effective response to the crisis.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of humanitarian aid programs and making adjustments as needed to ensure that they are effective and meeting the needs of affected communities.
- Preparing regular reports on the progress and impact of humanitarian aid programs, and communicating with donors and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing support.
- Relief funds disbursement and relief aid disbursement.
